Objective of

The German society for orthopaedic Rheumatology (DGORh) is a stand-alone, extraordinary section of DGOU and the DGOOC.
She is responsible for all aspects of orthopaedic Rheumatology.
It stands as a point of contact for all institutions which have a need for information or cooperation in the work area.
Within the medical orthopedic and Rheumatology specialist societies, she edited the field of orthopaedic Rheumatology in many commissions and committees.
It coordinates the interface between the DGOOC and medical Rheumatology.

Orthopaedic Rheumatology deals with the treatment of the effect of rheumatic disorders on the musculoskeletal system.
Orthopedic rheumatologist sees his task as a part of an interdisciplinary team, where next to one active patients internal medicine rheumatologists, psychologists, Laryngologist, occupational and physical therapists, Orthotists, involved patient associations, members, and more are involved.
