About Oasis
The OASIS ( Orthopaedic Association of South Indian States ) was started in the year 2001 with the sole purpose of exchanging academic information amongst the orthopaedic surgeons of southern part of India . Viz Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamilnadu and Pondicherry .
This need was felt more with growing numbers of orthopaedic surgeons in the country thus making national meetings very unwieldy.
Now we are proud to have nearly three thousand members as on date.

To make the meeting more cohesive and friendly being small and encourage young surgeons not only to share their clinical experiences and also to focus problems they face in rural areas with inadequate facilities.

The association has a long list of aspirations to fulfil in the years to come. It already conducted annual meetings and CME programmes since 2002. It is our endeavour to see this organization will grow and cater to the needs of Indian people at an affordable cost without compromising quality and ethics.

The Journal of Oasis stated in 2003 and as on date it comes once a year.

As on today the member ship is restricted to the full members of the member states.
