The objective of the association is to promote the quality of hand surgery in the Netherlands.
This is achieved by organizing scientific meetings. New members on the recommendation of two members shall be inserted.
The association currently has about 140 members. Many plastic surgeons, more orthopedic surgeons, rehabilitation physicians and physiotherapists.
