About us
The primary purpose of Montana Orthopedic Society (MOS) is to provide members a vehicle for the interchange of medical knowledge as it relates to orthopedic surgery in Montana and surrounding areas.>br> MOS also strives to keep surgeons from this very large and sparsely populated state informed of issues that impact our care of patients.
The Society acts as a liaison to the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Board of Councilors. The President of MOS serves as a representative for the Society at the Montana Medical Association. Finally, MOS acts as an advocate for musculoskeletal health care in the legislative and administrative arenas of the state.
MOS holds one meeting a year. The purpose of this meeting is primarily scientific; presentation of research and techniques pertinent to the practice of orthopedics in Montana. The annual meeting also provides the opportunity for members to meet and share information and to address common problems in a collegial setting.
