As a whole will join about 30 thousand orthopaedists serving diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system with an estimated population of 600 million Latin Americans. Recently, the presidents of most national groups of orthopedists and a group of distinguished (as) friends (as) of SLAOT, we met several times in various cities of our continent, with the aim of fostering a draft renovation and reorganization, which was recently approved by the agreements of Viña del Mar, Republic of Chile, which essentially led to the substantive changes in our statute that will sustain a solid foundation with the project mentioned above.
