Dear Members of the DGU, ladies and gentlemen,

You hereby may I as president of the German Society for Trauma Surgery e. V. on our website very warmly welcomed. The Board, numerous members of our bodies, our staff office in Berlin are trying to provide you with current information about the work of our company specialized care, but also on important topics throughout the accident medicine to comment.

The 125th Congress of the German Society for Surgery is behind us. According to some very controversial discussions on the future of general surgery presented the nine scientific societies under the umbrella of the German Society for Surgery in harmony and friendly relationship.
