Danish Paediatric Orthopaedic Society DPOS


We are a small group of 28 Danish orthopaedic doctors with special interest in children’s orthopaedics.
During the last year we have been busy participating in planning a new strategy for Danish Orthopaedics due to a new deal in Denmark regarding which patients goes to which hospital.

We have held two meetings within our Society and one well visited symposium on children’s fractures and dislocations around the elbow. In near future we will focus on orthopaedic treatment of CP, special hip-problems in CP. We will also give lot of attention to keep the responsibility for treatment of children trauma cases in our hands and we hope to develop our relationship with our colleges in Northern Countries, the rest of Europe and the World.
