History Society

The Chilean Society of Sports Medicine, founded on July 18, 1955, consists of more than 400 physicians and professionals dedicated to education and dissemination of sports medicine.

The Society promotes and supports education and research programs in the area of sports medicine, including related planning and training techniques, nutrition and psychology, as well as programs to improve our knowledge in diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation and prevention of the many sports injuries.
