About Us

The Association of arthroplasty (AE) is comprised of leading orthopedic surgeons and trauma surgeons and scientists, as experts dealing with issues of arthroplasty and alternative methods.

The commitment of the members is the goal of life of patients with diseases and injuries of the joints to improve the long term.

This we see as the main task of the ongoing development of a comprehensive education and training for physicians and operating room personnel. Weitere Arbeitsschwerpunkte sind Nachwuchsförderung, klinische Forschung, Patienteninformation und internationaler Austausch. Further work is focused on youth development projects, clinical research, patient information and international exchange.

All activities are characterized by openness and honesty of the members and based on a continuous and careful analysis of scientific data.

As a neutral and independent organization, we are the contacts for doctors, patients, hospitals and payers as well as politics, industry and the public.
