Introduction about APAS
Asia-Pacific Arthroplasty Society,called APAS forshort.It was founded by Wui.k.Chung,a renowned professor of orthopedics, in 1998.The society is dedicated to promote the arthrosis replacement skill in Asia-Pacific region both academically and technologically mainly through teaching and training, academic conference, on-site operation performance and exhibition of new instruments.

As authoritative professional organization in Asia-Pacific region and international academic organization in arthroplasty field, APAS has thirteen member states including China, Australia, South Korea, Singapore, India and so on. It is a very influential organization in arthroplasty domain in Asia-Pacific region. The society engaged in academic exchange actives related to arthrosis replacement. Every year, there are various activities namely academic annual meeting, exchange scholars and short-term training will be held for in depth and close academic exploration and discussion. The working language is English. There are two kinds of membership in the society, which are life-long member and general member.

Since 1998, the society has successfully held 12 sessions of annual academic meeting and many times of short-tern training in many countries in Asia-Pacific region, including Australia, India, South Korea, China, Indonesia, Malaysia and other countries. Mandy well-known arthroplasty experts and scholars are invited to hold lectures on special topic and to conduct academic communication. Meanwhile, the society also arranges many arthroplasty enterprises. In this connection, the society not only strengthens the combination of academic theory and practice, but also reinforces the communication and inter-action between arthroplasty companies and experts. Therefore, the experts, scholars and relevant companies all APAS.
