Dear colleagues,

We invite you to Leipzig, a deeply symbolic city of political rebound.

During the annual meeting in 2009, the German speaking Arthroscopy Association (AGA) as a scientific association focuses on innovative arthroscopic techniques. We aim at extensively evaluating the anatomic reconstruction of the anterior cruciate ligament. Another main focus will be on revision and complication surgery. All lectures will be translated simultaneously into English. Again, there will be a three-day AGA-meeting in 2009. The first day will be dedicated to science, planning and publishing of scientific projects. International guest speakers are invited to the congress. There will be several instructional courses with practical, innovative and scientific topics as well as an ESSKA Symposium.

To further advance the clinical outcome of treatment and good co-operation between physical therapists and surgery nursing service, seminars for physiotherapists and nurses will be performed.

The Association of Ambulant Arthroscopy (BVASK) will host its annual meeting and an accompanying course on arthroscopic surgery. Finally, social life and nightlife will not be missed out. We are looking forward to welcoming you to Leipzig.
